Hello! I am brand new to the site but I've been dying to know what my cats bloodline might be... I stumbled upon this website and decided to share pictures of my beloved baby: ChinChan. I recieved him (for free) from a friend of a friend when he was 5 months old because he could no longer take care of ChinChan (who was formerly known as 'Simba').
A lot of the physical description of a Russian Blue resembles Chan. He definitely has that 'Joker' smile. He has beautiful green eyes and a soft blue coat. He does have faint stripes towards the tip of his tail but other than that he is a solid color.

In fact, “fetching” is a favorite pastime for Russians and their owners! Pull out the vacuum cleaner, and the Russian will find a safer and quieter location. Relatively quiet-voiced (except perhaps at mealtime), the Russian Blue appreciates a pat on the head, a window from which to watch the birds, and, of course, the comforts of home. ChinChan ALWAYS greets me at the door, purring and rubbing on my legs. He and I play fetch almost on the daily. He is a quiet cat EXCEPT when bird watching (which he does daily) and mealtime or when he's begging to go outside. He isn't fond of the vacuum cleaner so he will disappear or if he's stuck in the same room as me while vacuuming, he will simply move to another side of the room. ChinChan follows me EVERYWHERE I go... whether it's while I'm using the bathroom, taking a shower, going upstairs beiefly, etc. he will always be a few steps behind me.
What are your thoughts??
