I'm needing some advice about kittens. They were born March 2. There are 6 this is her 2nd litter. Five of them have their eyes open but one doesn't. The others have had their eyes open since the first of the week. I'm worried something is wrong I don't know if this is unusual

I'm sure it's fine. Don't touch its eyes! Are you planning to have momma spayed now. It is exhausting for a female cat to have multiple litters.

Yes most definitely. How long should it take for the last one to open its eyes? It's definitely hard. She's my daughter's & I can't keep doing it. She had her first litter back in October hasn't been that long

It depends. Worst case scenario, the kitten is blind. But it can still live a wonderful life with care. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. The important thing is that momma is taking care of her kittens.

So your daughter lets momma cat outside & she littered last October? That is not good. Please encourage her to take care of this cat properly.

What will you do with all these kittens?

No my daughter didn't let mama out. She got out by mistake. She takes good care of her she loves her very much. When they are old enough I'll find them homes that's what I did with the last litter. I stay in contact with every person that has them.

Hi @cats7  It's still quite early for all the kittens to have their eyes open yet.

Don't worry, nothing is wrong.

If the kittens start to sneeze or have a runny nose or if you notice any discharge around the eyes you should consult your vet. Everything sounds fine otherwise though.

Good luck with Momma and the kittens.
