So yesterday at about 2pm my girl lost her mucus plug, she hasn't been acting very different, I do believe I see contractions sometimes although I'm not sure, she has a little shake in her belly and such.

She has been eating her normal amount, I have a little nest box for her and she sleeps in that, she's back and forth between the box a table near my bed. She has been licking a lot and I have no idea when her kittens are coming, I'm worried because it was indeed her mucus plug and she hasn't really changed. She's been sleeping a lot, drinking LOTS of water.

When should I start to worry if she doesn't begin her actual labor?

Does the mucus plug even mean anything when it comes to labor?

I don't know exactly when she got pregnant.. I believe around Janurary 14th is when she got pregnant, so somewhere around 62 days.

I do plan on spaying her after this litter. It was just kinda out of nowhere.

The mucus plug can be lost up to a week before labor and delivery, and the average pregnancy runs 65-68 days, so she may have a few days to go yet. Hang in there! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

She's just lost some more mucus. It's thickish kinda yellowy green. She isn't panting, she's sleeping.

She has been laying down in her box, I can still see the kittens moving quite a bit. She's also purring quite a bit.

It sounds like she is purring through the pain of her contractions.

So she just pushed out her first baby, but shes having contractions and the first baby is still attached to the placenta. (the placenta is out, she licked it some and isn't eating it) the baby is still attached to it too. What do I do? should I wait for her other babies?

I think you have to wait. Her other babies might not come today. Just letting you know. Some cats deliver quickly, some don't.

what about the attached placenta? should I just leave it attached to the baby?

It might just take her a few minutes to get around to it if she knows another is on the way. My foster cat Elsa had her babies 12 days ago and she seemed a little preoccupied like she was ignoring the baby but it was because another was on the way.

She got around to them all in time. It just took longer than I thought it would.

You can pinch the cord off about an inch from baby's belly if mom has not done so yet.
