Just some back story, problem below: My cat just gave birth to her kittens last night/this morning around 2 am and when I checked this morning she was meowing a bit and when I looked there was 5 kittens but one passed away so when I took him out to see if I could warm him up or revive him in any way she stopped meowing.

The problem: She eventually moved her kittens into my closet I guess where no one could be around her but now she is roaming around my living room constantly meowing and seeming like she wants attention, she'll go up to the father cat and want his attention but he just hisses at her and then come back to me and meow at me...is this normal or should I be worried

She sounds a bit confused. Maybe you can close her in a room with the kittens and all she needs (water, litter box, food) so she can settle.

Is he neutered yet? You need to keep them apart if not.

Have you weighed the kittens?

When I tried to close her into the room, if she noticed me closing the door she tried to runout but if I get it closed she starts to scratch at the door..
He will be Friday (I know it's irresponsible, money is just an issue)
No, I don't have a way to - I've tried reading as much stuff as I can, I just don't remember reading that I had to weight them..

You must keep him away for the next month after his neuter. She can get pregnant again at any time, even without going into heat. He will remain fertile for up to a month after the neuter.

Weighing the babies every day, even with a cheap kitchen scale, ensures that they are growing and thriving. You may need to supplement those who aren't gaining enough from mom.

Okay thank you so much.
Just backtracking: You really think her crying is okay? She's leaving the babies but will go back after maybe 2 hours and then spends 2 hours with them and then repeat
A minute ago she layed next to me and buried her head into my blanket and when I looked at her her mouth was slightly open; I just don't know much and worry about everything I could just be overthinking it

I believe that majority of pets including cats undergo hormonal imbalance after giving birth, just like as humans. This type of mood swing is normal, just make sure that you pay attention to her needs. Provide her the right amount of food and drinks as she will feed her kittens.
