When Princess Yue Pants was little, she was practically pastel. Her markings and colors came in later, even though she's always had those blue eyes and pink nose. On her first examination papers they called her snowshoe and lynx, but I've seen ragdolls fairly similar to her though they have a denser coat.

My other cats are easy: russian blue mix, dsh bw tux, tortie

He reminds me of the Norwegian, with his head and triangularish face, esp on pic 2.  They are also often bi-colors.  but I see on pic 3 he seems to be a point?  What exact color are his eyes?

I mean, tabby and  points may easily darken up on the body, and him being longhair, its difficuilt to see the tabby stripes...

He may have Norwegian looks anywya, but pointed norwegians are rare.

I was wondering if there were any other ideas. Basepaws let us use an extra kit for her while we submitted for Tommy, but I'm not sure they are going to give us anything other than longhair domestic until their database grows.

Being that elegant, she could be also be pressed into the Turkish angora look alike kathegory, but they arent supposed to be points them either.

Perhaps Neva Masquerade may be your last resort. :)

Even if I still would vote on the occasional Norwegian. After all, this must happen now and then, even if breedeers try to avoid.

If we do have pointed russians, although breeders actively work against it, so there must happen pointed norwegians.

I think I'm going to go with Siberian. She looks a lot like Manny other than color. Looks like tortie on her back with smoke and white. Maybe a low white tortie with smoke? Her eyes look blue in one pic and hazel or gray in a couple pics. She's really pretty whatever she may be! Pic of Manny to compare.

Her eyes are always blue it just depends on the lighting. When she was younger she was a pale lilac on white - then the fur grew and she's got heather grey with deep cream colors.

Most likely: Lynx point and white domestic longhair.

Possible: Ragdoll ancestry. Colorpoint bicolor pattern is typical of Ragdolls. Note that the cat is located in the US; here in the US the Ragdoll is one of the more common breeds, with a significant number of breeders focused on producing pet quality Ragdolls for the pet market. Siberians are relatively rare in the US and colorpoint is not common in that breed, so I think Siberian ancestry is less likely, also she doesn't appear to have the heavy coat of the Siberian.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of cats are domestic shorthair / longhair and don't have specific breed ancestry. I'm a little suspicious of Basepaws' reports because it would be in their business interest to tell a lot of people that their cats appear to have specific breed ancestry; this would make their customers happier and more likely to post their Basepaws reports on social media and get more customers for Basepaws... I'm really curious to see how Basepaws handles this.

Top three breeds are Maine Coon, Oriental Shorthair, and Peterbald.
She's pretty strictly Domestic.

I'm thinking of how to put this all together for social media, honestly. I'm still waiting on my domestic blue's results, but I got my kits by working with their Marketing Officer. I'm not bothered by lack of a dominant breed because then there is no focus on predispositioned health issues within that breed.

It just makes life easier to use a breed when describing your cat...Something others can relate to.

Her breed is "Pretty".

Yes. Ragdoll was way down the list. She has no heavy leaning towards anything, but those were the top three detected.

did they catch on that she wasn't a guinea pig? :flail::flail:

btw she's a really pretty girl. I can see the maine coon influence.

Now that I've come back to this post I agree. I can see the MC influence. That's a pretty square muzzle and the ears are MCish.
