Moo Shu Snowshoe, the day she came into the house after being unceremoniously tossed out of a car by neighbours who'd just bought her and then had decided to divorce (I often muse that perhaps she was the cause of their parting).

It seems like only yesterday she was a sweet, energetic little ball of fluff.  Last week, my Veterinarian dropped in with his ex-SPCA rescue English Mastiff, Midge (short for, "Midget" - he's male, and only a little smaller than a late 1940s vintage Packard)  to split a pizza.  Midge, who's exceeding well-behaved, usually gets a rug in one corner of the kitchen, well away from the cats, and not realising that the **** Snowshoe was hiding somewhere, we plopped Midge's food into a bowl, and took the pizza and libations into the dining room, closing the door as usual.  Perhaps thirty seconds later, there was a high-pitched yowl from the kitchen, followed by a series of whimpers.  When we opened the door, the **** Snowshoe had the poor dog cornered, and was eyeing the food bowl.  Of course, when she saw us, she bolted through the door and was gone into the main house.  After a close nose inspection, it was clear that the dog was frightened but unharmed, and we made our way back to the dining room, to find the **** Snowshoe in the pizza box, calmly picking off pieces of sausage and wolfing them down.   **** Snowshoe.
