YA.. I stepped on him TWICE within 5 minutes!@!

I fell the second time.. i was working in the kitchen.. and MAxx kept getting behind me.. i usually can react and light-foot step on him.. ugh not that second time...he got behind me again right after i barely was able not to step on him not 3 minutes earlier, the second time i fell i stepped and kinda dragged if that makes sense.. i fell backward on my hardwood..he ran off when he came back and sat behind me again,, his leg was straight where it should have been bent.. i was like OMGoodness!! i grabbed him and picked him up.. and i felt him to see if he meowed..if it hurt.. he didnt.. it was that way for about 45 min then it seemed ok.. it was business as usual.. except for me.. haha i hurt my tailbone falling and went to urgent care last night.. do i need to take him to the vet>? To make sure he is ok?

Just monitor kitty for a day or two. See if he's limping or acting strangely like hiding or not eating. If not, then he may be ok. When Momo was young, maybe 1yr exactly he either fell or leaped from my 2nd floor balcony onto the cement below. I was watering some veggie plants at the time and I heard his cry and rushed over just to see him land funny on some trash bins and run to the the neighbors patio. When I rushed downstairs to get him he ran a little from me and hissed and was generally upset. I called an ER vet clinic and they told me to monitor him and bring him in if I saw anything funny. Thankfully he was totally ok after that!

It happens, you tried your best to avoid him but sometimes we can't lol. I remember a dad telling his little girl after she fell once, "What did I tell you about gravity?"

She dejectedly responded, "It always wins."
