Hi thanks you for all your replys they have really helped me .. I checked nala over tonight and her belly was firm is this normal I also did her temperature and got 37.4c and 99.32f is this a normal temperature for a cat ??
With an under arm temperature you need to add 3 degrees. If you add 3 to the reading, she was in the normal range for a cat. Temperature is also not the most reliable indicator for labor in my experience, despite what you may have read to the contrary.
Nala is 9 weeks this weekend should I separate her from her sister?? Its just I dont want keira taking any kittens at night when they are being born then when we give them back to nala in the morning wont have her scent so nala wont take them but they are so close and every night they sleep next to eachover. What should I do ??
Let them stay together until she has the kittens. At that point, observe whether Nala is still happy with her sister there and how her sister reacts to the kittens. Some strongly bonded cats do well together co-parenting the kittens. [emoji]128522[/emoji]
