Hello, it's so nice to come here and see cats getting so much love!
This is Porter, he's five months old, weighs 7lbs 6 oz, and growing really fast! He's an absolute sweetheart, and has hit it off nicely with his dog 'brother', Waldo. They actually run to greet each other in what my husband jokingly calls a 'tearful reunion' if there are apart for any amount of time, like when we take Waldo on his walks. Porter has a leash and harness (Waldo's when he was much smaller), but has pulled "cat just fell down and died from the absolute shame of his people trying to walk him" manouver, so we are not really pushing this. Porter is also quite the shape shifter, alternating between adorable baby kitten and ferocious-looking beast. He surprises us with his awesomeness every day... he was curious but also calm and passive when we, after prepping like it was going to be brain surgery, gave him his first bath. He also just calmly looked on as I trimmed his claws. He has his random moments, when a switch seems to have been flipped and our baby cat is replaced by a leaping, ambushing, spinning demon... he never really hurts us though. He's pretty great. We love him and would not mind if he stays a kitten forever, but we're also excited to see how big he gets and he changes in appearance. Here are pics from the last two days...
