I have asked the vet to send off his poo samples & I have a little bit of antibiotic left which I'm giving him in the doses he had before just in case his course didn't clear it completely. Unfortunately my 1yr old devon also now has diarrhoea & is off his food [emoji]128542[/emoji]
Freddie is very loose still so I'm going to carry on with the antibiotics until the results come through.
Oh & this is Freddie:-

He looks a bit Rex-ish to me, but I could be wrong.  And those EARS!  I'm in LOVE with those ears!

You are dead right he's a Devon Rex. Everyone loves his ears, they are huge compared to his head!!!!

Where do you think?
A Rex huh? Those Sphinx things remind me of rats if I'm honest. Your cat doesn't though. I've heard petting a Rex is like petting a lamb. They have woolly fur.

Freddie was born with no fur but it will grow & is in fact doing so. It is right they are like stroking a lamb. They have beautiful coats. Freddie will have a lovely coat eventually as his dad & mum had great coats. His dad is actually a grand champion.

If he grows into those ears, he's going to be ENORMOUS!  He's a little doll.  I am addicted to kitten tails, but I could easily develop an addiction to Freddie Ears, as well!  @HelloMissKitty  It isn't kitten tails, this time, but the EARS are to DIE FOR!

Isn't little Freddie a doll??
I've been a big fan of Freddie's for a long time now... F flojo75 and I are pen pals and she been keeping me posted on how that little man of hers has been doing ever since she knew he was coming home to her. I'm so glad you experts here at TCS have been able to advise her as I no absolutely nothing about kittens...other than they have the most adorable everything [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

LOL...sometimes all I can do is be the cheering section, but that can mean the world.  I know that, because when Hekitty was sick, often it was knowing others cared that kept me on an even keel.

I have quite fallen for Freddie, myself!  I itch to make memes of him, to tell the truth...SO many captions in my head...

Well Freddie has been given the all clear with his fecal tests however he's still got terrible diarrhoea [emoji]128542[/emoji] The vet has suggested that I try a probiotic so I'm going to give that a go. If that doesn't work well I have no idea what is wrong with him [emoji]128553[/emoji]

It could be an allergy to the protein that you're feeding, or another ingredient. Trying a raw diet or a novel protein might clear him up!

He was on a raw diet when I got him & his diarrhoea was really bad he was passing blood. That has now stopped but he's still very loose.

He was eating raw mince but my vet told me to get him off a raw diet which I have done.
