More blood in his poo this time about an inch long strand. Think I'll bring his appointment forward to Monday.
Yes, do so if you can.  Dont wait any longer than to monday.

He HAS been properly dewormed?  As this is the first which comes to mind.

I would get him to the vet it sounds like something is going on that we can't see. Also bring a fresh turd to the vet. They will check this to get an idea of where the bleeding is taking place and what could be causing it (parasites etc)

As the poster above said he may have not been dewormed yet. Although I'm not sure if he is too young to tolerate it.

You won't be able to tell if there's parasites or not with the naked eye. You need a microscope at the bare minimum. Veterinary labs have special equipment to check for parasites.

If I'm honest I'm convinced that it's the raw mince he's on, he's now eating wet food with goats milk so I'm just going to see how that transpires.

Raw minced by itself is OK, its commonly used here in Sweden as first food for growing kittens.  But if that minced was infected or spoiled by something, say a one celled parasite  alike amoeba, it will be completely different matter.

Any way, wet food with goats milk is excellent, so its just to proceed with this.    Add a drop of coldpressed organic style cocoanut oil, it has some inflammatory soothing properties.   Not more than one or two drops, as its also somewhat loosening - as I wrote earlier.

The rest of the oil you can use yourself, its healthy for humans too.

Yes, do try to get a fresh stool sample for the vet, and for goodness' sake, let us know what is going on!  I shall now put on my worry cap, and start sending lots of
your way!

Well Freddie's poo's are getting more solid. We're getting there. He's eating wet food & eating well. He's full of energy as well.
He's got a follow up vets appointment tomorrow afternoon so I'll update with what is said.

Eating well and full of energy are the best indications that he's on the way!  YAY!  Keep us posted (of course).

I gave him his wet food tonight & my other two a treat of a bowl of cooked chicken, as soon as Freddie smelt it he stuck his head in my girls bowl & she never got a look in, nothing wrong with his appetite!!!!
I'll post tomorrow when I've been to the vets.

Freddie was back at the vets today for a check up & he's put on another 180g & is so much better, basically being a typical kitten!! The vet thought it could be some bad mince that he ate, he's now on wet food so I won't have that problem anymore.
Thank you everyone for all your help & advice [emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji]

It will take a couple days to work it's way out if it is just some bad food so wouldn't expect an instant cure. Can take about a week till back to normal provided nothing else shows up.

He's had diarrhoea for 9 days so I hope he is ok soon. I know I can call my vet any time I need to & she's not to worried at this stage.

Do we have an update?  Called the vet?  Her thoughts?  PICTURES????  I know, and I'll be patient.  But it's a KITTEN!  With a little, wodgy kitten tail!  Our regulars will tell you that I have an addiction to kitten tails.
