Movement is usually seen or felt the last 2-3 weeks. It also depends on how big the litter is. She's got at least 2 weeks left.

It's like the kittens read this post and decided to throw a party in her belly tonight! Just kidding, it's not that exciting, but there are some flutters and I even got a little kick on video :) I feel so relieved, I'm an emotional person and I knew if this litter was all stillborns I would be beside myself no matter how much I try to prepare for the worst and hope for the best!

I certainly will! It's so fantastic knowing there are people here who are going through/have gone through the same experiences (or are just very knowledgeable) that are willing to help out with questions or concerns :) thank you all!

She is 8 months old, but looks a little small in this photo; she's the same size as my almost 2 year old cat

Can she have treats while pregnant? I've cut back on them just in general because I figured she should be getting as much nutrition as possible from her food but today she chewed through a bag of treats, is this harmful in any way? The recommended serving is 17 daily and I'm not sure exactly how many she ate but I know it wasn't that many. (Maybe like 5 max, not many were missing from the bag) I think she should be fine but I figured I would ask because you all know better than I do!

Also the bag recommends no treats for cats under 5 pounds which she is not, but the kittens obviously are

That's what I said! I usually only give her 1-2 anyway. Thanks so much :)

We are getting close! I'm starting to get quite nervous, I hope everything goes well. Her nipples are swollen and she's licked all the fur away from them; she's also been very agitated lately, is this normal? She's been pacing quite a bit and doesn't seem to want much affection

She also seems to be very lethargic, should I be concerned? Sorry for all the questions I just want these next few days to go as smoothly as possible for her

Just wanted to let you all know that we are on official kitten watch this week! Luckily me and my roommate have different schedules so Spooks is never alone for more than about 30 minutes at a time! I'm keeping my eyes out for any signs! As of today she's still eating and she's not looking any smaller (a couple things I've heard could be signs) her milk also hasn't come in but I think she may be nesting! The bathroom with the lights off seems to her area of choice currently (woo hoo, tile!) she's also gone back to being very affectionate and she's been very chatty! I'll keep this thread updated with any changes I notice!

Not sure if this is necessarily a pregnancy thing but I've noticed black stuff on her anus? She's going regularly and she doesn't smell so I don't think it's poop
I'm thinking maybe she's just so round that she's not able to clean herself well? Posting here because I'd rather be safe than sorry
