Hi, my cat snazzy has been vomiting out his entire cat food which is undigested. It's been a while since he started doing that. He is 11 years old and is otherwise healthy.
I stopped feeding him anything other than MEOW adult cat food. I don't feed him spicy meat .
There are no Good vets around my area otherwise I would've taken him to one.
Plus, since a week he has been pooping everywhere. He's 11 he has been toilet trained since he was a kitten, the consistency of his poop are normal.
I'm really worried, I don't know what to do with him please guide me.
Thank you

My dear old boy was recently diagnosed with IBD, it maybe worth googling that. If you at least get some blood tests done you cold rule out hyperthyroidism. IBD often comes with inflamed liver enzymes.

My cat had similar issues. It sounds like IBD. I would ask your vet about it, the earlier you intervene the better it will be for both of you.

Hello Chachahowsi
What are you feeding your cat? I am struggling mine enjoys Royal Canin G1 32 dry but won't eat the wet, now he is running into kidney problems....he is okay with chicken protein.

When my cat was vomiting I was feeding her chicken and broth baby food (beech nut) to make sure she was getting some calories. It is also bland and the consistency is easy on the stomach. My vet also prescribed an anti nausea medication I think it was called cerenia.

At 11 your cat should be screened for both hyper-t and kidney disease, both which can cause vomiting. In addition, vomiting undigested food could be an intolerance, if you're feeding kibble, or it could be from hairballs. First step would be a vet visit.

It could also be a symptom of hairballs.  A hairball takes up room in the tummy so that the food has nowhere to go but back up.  Cats are often still hungry and might even eat their own sick.  Maybe put a wee spludge of vaseline on his nose and paws for him to lick off.  Then, if he continues to do it and no hairballs are passed, do all the things suggested above.

My cat does this, he just eats too fast! I got him a bowl with spikey things in it so he has to fish out his food. He hates it, but that pretty much stopped it. Just another possibility for you. Hope your boy is alright!

My kitten did this a month or so ago. He hasn't been officially diagnosed but I've suspected he either has food intolerances or IBD so it's been a lot of trial and error. Anywho, when I took him to the vet, they gave him a few days of anti-nausea medication and he was able to keep food down. Though like others said it could also be that your kitty is eating too fast!

As others have told you, if your cat is eating too fast this can lead to vomiting undigested food.

My younger cat is prone to this problem when she's so hungry that can't control herself at the bowl.

Other than this it can be a gastritis or a first sign of hyperthiroidism. For both of these there are meds which will help your cat.

My cat has hyperthiroidism, she developed it lately and this led to a series of problems among which gastritis and liver malfunction. I am treating her with methimazole and things seem going better lately, but we also treated her gastritis with small pills or injections for about three weeks.

Your cat need a check-up. Isn't there a good clinic with a lab in your area?

Some cats do better keeping food down when you elevate the bowl. This keeps the head and throat more level, and the cat can swallow the food more easily.

Try placing the food bowl on a box or on a folded towel as an experiment to see if this helps. There are several types of elevated feeding bowls you can buy, but I would make a trial first.
