Oh, a very nice classic tabby - also called for marbled, blotched, or simply - bulls eye tabby.

The color is black and silver -  and white.   A very nice coloring.

Stunning.   Stunning!!!   And sweet.

And you say in your town you can find such a those in bags?

I must go out and look see after some bags.  Whom knows, perhaps even I may be lucky to find such a pearl for myself??!

He's lovely ? How did you find him ? An old lady had your cat put down ? How does somebody else have authority to take a cat which isn't theirs and have it put down ?

Yes, this seems fairly sure.    I have seen such time and again, this happens much more frequently than pure coincidence...

Sounds as his time was nearing...  The end come quicker and in another fashion, but the alternative were YOU would be forced to take the decision instead...   So be just happy this lady did her share to helping him.

And yes, I do believe Crimson is a personnal representative and gift from  Simba.   I cant promise its the same soul proceeding, but there is definitely a connection.

One thing more.  Excuse me, why Crimson, what is the connection with 27 December?   Im a foreigner, so its unknown for me.

Nay,  I dont think so.

Unless you mean it was some odd and complicated way of her to send the kitten, so it would be found and rescued by RachieG?   As a consolation gift?   Not totally impossible, but sounds complicated.

Sorry I was being sarcastic ! Like the old lady seems a bit mean and may have been the type to put a kitten in a bag...

I dont think this lady was mean.  Really quite the opposite.

Here she found this apparently old cat, apparently going downhill now, outsid,e on his own.  Thrown out  as is quite common?

He is too old to have any good chance for an adoption, even if he is friendly.  And being that old, its probably no idea to try and treat him for his illness - which is prob anyways  terminal at that age...

So she decided to do this which could be done:  called on the instance in question to put him down humanely.    Im sure if he died in her home, she would instead bury him in her own garden with suitable respects.

Her only fault was she didnt understood he HAD a home, and was just taking his usual strolling around, as he was used to.

She DID cared.  And she dit take action to help this old, dying cat.

Ps.  The trick in all such cases, is to help the cat immediately if you think it needs help, and you can give help (have it perhaps in your bathroom one day or two)

and simultaneously seek actively after the owners.   Observe, many cats allowed to go out are a bit shy.  Which is of course wise of them.

If he was just strolling around or come astray, you will find grateful owners.  If he was dumped or is homeless for real, you will find not. But then you take the next step - whichever it is.

Just one word of caution: you dont want weirdos, whom perhaps want to have a cat for free, to do things with.  So dont describe it too closely.  Let the owners identyfy themselves by the last remaining puzzle piece.

That's why I'm too scared to ever let my kitten outside on her own ! That and the main road. Don't want to go off topic however our kitten is chipped and I've heard this would be checked by vets etc if she ever did escape ?

Yes, its supposed to be so.  Vets are supposed to scan  free of costs, not taking their usual examination payment.  Unless of couse,  you do ask them to make a vet check up.  Which is often wise, even with found cats.

Most shelters have also such scanner device, and even the police is supposed to have.  At least, some police statinons has.
