Her instincts may be driving her to want to get out and find her own place in the house to nest. Since the dogs are out there that's not a good idea.

Is she in your bedroom? Does she have food, water, and litter in the room? Is the nest big enough?
She is in my bedroom, with litter and food and water. The nest is in a big (but low walled) drawer with old towels and fleece blankets. I was thinking maybe to make another one in another area of the room? She's also been hiding under the bed a lot.

Yes, making another nest would give her an option. She may have the kittens under the bed. The closet nest sounds nice!

Do you think she's in labor yet?

I haven't seen any discharge or anything like that, the only weird thing she's been doing is trying to get out and meowing a lot. She's still playing with her toys and being extremely active.

That's good! We'll just wait and see then. She may just want a break from the room for a spell.

I think that might be it. I usually let her out when I take the dogs on a walk, but I haven't been able to with everything being so busy here so she probably feels a little caged right now. I'll try and let her out when the dogs arent in more, even if it's only for a bit so she doesn't get the need while they're in and end up scared under something again.

You don't always feel the babies until the last couple of weeks when they are bigger.

Okay. I looked back to see that it's been almost 3 weeks since you got her, and she was pretty big then. My guess is that she is at the end of her pregnancy, and the kittens have little room to move as they are bigger. They may be starting to drop down near the birth canal as well. Once they've dropped it's harder to see movement.

Someone said that before, but I guess I worry! Because I could see them moving about the time I uploaded that and I read somewhere that they are around 7 weeks when you can see the babies moving, so this would be her 9th week, going into 10 I think. So I guess I worry that since it's taking so long that I was wrong about her being pregnant.

Most cats deliver past the 9th week. Better later than too early. Premature kittens rarely survive. She should begin showing signs of going into labor soon. Try not to worry. Things sound normal to me!

I guess that is true. I worry a lot, this is my first pregnant cat and such a young one too. I really wish I could have taken her to the vet earlier, but I guess I can't change that and will just have to do my best not to stress over every little thing. Thank you for the help :)

So, since I made her her little nest she has not laid in it once, only going into the closet to tear up the cardboard I left for her near the nest since she seemed to like that. A moment ago, she made a strange meow, jumped off the bed and went and laid in the nest. Now she is licking herself quite a lot, mainly around her stomach and butt. I didn't want to get up and see if there's any discharge because I don't want to make her get up from the nest. I don't know if it's labor because she's not making a peep now, but she doesn't usually lay in the closet ever. She really likes the floor since it's nice and cool, but never the nest. Is she just trying it out or is it almost time?

The time must be near. That's exactly what my cat did - meowed and went into her nest to have her kittens. We'll see!

I hope she has them soon. She doesn't seem to be acting any different and is now out and eating and playing. She might have just been testing it out. I'm trying to stay at home at much as I can here recently so when she has them I can be here to take her to the vet if there's any complications, so I get very worried when she does anything slightly different than usual, thinking she's going into labor and there's going to be something wrong and I won't have a vet on the spot. Which is why I keep asking if she's about to have them or not haha.

Please help! I just got home with my mother from the hosptial, and started showing off MoMo to her. I went into my bedroom to change and my mom came in asking what was wrong with my cat, she was meowing a lot, almost constantly. I gave her food and water and she sat down and ate and seemed fine, but after continued to meow at us. I checked her butt and she has clear discharge. I heard cats in heat can have that, but I'm not sure? When I looked the second time, it was a lot and all over her hind legs. It is completely clear, and looks slimey. Is she going into labor or could she be in heat and I was wrong about the pregnancy? She is running all around the house, seeming restless and meowing.
