I'm new to this by the way so...hi ^^

Anyways, I fed my cat this morning and she had her bloating belly. I thought that she was supposed to give birth next week but apparently it was today. When I returned home her stomach was flat but no kittens to be found. She was just lying down and went I touched her stomach (felt like a head) she would meow, look at my hand and shift herself away. It seemed like she had just given birth since there was still blood on her but I couldn't find them. Can someone tell me what is wrong with my cat?

Well, you need to search for the kittens. Are they definitely inside?

Your cat may also need to see a vet. How much blood?

Nope, she was outside in the patio when I came home so I searched around the outskirts of the house.

There was just like an inch of blood

You need to find the kittens I find there are any. Try playing a YouTube video of kittens and see if mom goes to them. It's also posisble that she hasn't had them yet, but they have dropped into the birth canal. If so, she will go into labor soon.

You need to move mom inside and keep her inside until the kittens are weaned. Do you plan to spay her after this litter?

Hey, I noticed this evening that my cat was sucking up milk from her stomach. IS THIS NORMAL?!

What do you mean by "sucking up milk from her stomach"?

Did you find her kittens? Are they with the mother now? Is she nursing them?

Could you describe in more detail what you mean by sucking up milk from her stomach? I can't imagine what that is.

Well first of all, the kittens were not found and my cat doesn't appear to go looking for them either. I follow her in chances of finding them but she leads me to me to where she goes to lay down.

Anyways, you know how kittens usually suck from nipples, well it seems to be on her stomach and by the way her nipples are hit not the usual pink. So this part of her stomach produces milk and she constantly licks it up.

Are you saying that her stomach is leaking a fluid? Why is your cat still outside?

But there shouldn't be milk leaking out of anywhere other than her nipples. If it's coming out of her stomach, that's an issue. And probably not milk.

Can you have her spayed? Otherwise she will continue having litter after litter and it's brutal for her body.

Your cat clearly needs to see a vet. Please take care of her.

If your cat has just had kittens she should be spending a lot of time with them. If you are still seeing her hanging around the house  for hours at a time there is a chance that either she hasn't had kittens yet or that they were still born.

If she is producing milk but has no kittens to suckle she could be licking herself to relieve the pressure in her milk glands. There is a chance that she could develop masitis. This is a very painful condition and can lead to infection around the nipples. It can be fatal for a cat if left untreated.

You need to take your cat to the vet. A vet will be able to tell you if she has delivered yet and check for mastitis. You also need to get her spayed ASAP. If she isn't pregnant now she soon will be and outdoor kittens often die in horrible ways. It's cruel to let her keep having kittens this way.

Also, could you keep her indoors? She'll be much safer and you won't have to spend so much money on vet bills.
