Hi, My cat is elderly and having seizures about every three weeks.  It started last November and she would walk around in a circle then collapse and start shaking.  I hold her and she seems to stabilize and them come out of it.  Yesterday, it appears to be a 'grand' seizure and she shook for a good two minutes and a lot of saliva came out.  When I touch the top of her head, she stops for a second and then starts shaking again.  She then recovers, walks around dazed and what looks like - remapping the environment and then appears to be her normal self.  After November she started eating almost twice as much, but is slowing down a bit now.  Any advice, like stories, cat poetry would be appreciated.  Thanks much.  Sorry, photo kind of blurry.

They do eat ravenous afterwards *I was told so passing on *  you need to monitor write down the episodes how frequent they are

time start and finish. Normally few seconds to a minute long anything longer take her to the Vet.  This is during treatment already

if you have not seen a Vet you really must get blood work done Vets can diagnose hopefully treat where it stems from...She needs meds to

control Grand mal seizures they do the most damage :(   for the little ones keeping her wide awake alert totally conscious, did hear

using a bag of Frozen peas on their back helps to snap them out of it before it progresses....have used a pressure point under the nose

works well but again only if you're home.  New method is using CBD oil purchased at medicinal shops it's a pet product some oils are stronger than

others, so it's a matter of research. I believe it helps prevent inflammation.

Beautiful kitty!
