Even the old folk are cute! - Post your older cat buddies!

This is Sunday, the beautiful queen that I left behind in the UK (with my parents) to move to Norway. 

We got her as a tiny rescue kitten when I was 5, and this was her at 16 years. She's now 20, and in perfect health! She moved with my parents from one side of the country to the other and had her first vet assessment in over a decade, 2 years ago, and the conclusion was "I've never seen a cat her age in such good health". She's apparently got the body of a cat a quarter of her age! She was the runt of the litter (we also had her brother, but he sadly passed away at 1) and has always been exceedingly tiny, but incredibly affectionate! 

She was my best friend as a child, and I will always love her more than most humans,  and she still insists on sleeping on my pillow next to me (and my poor SO) on the rare occasion that I go home! - She'll always be my little kitten.

So show me your elderly cats! The cats that have shared your home and grown with you through thick and thin, and who will always have that special place in your heart! <3 

This is Hector before she passed away she was only 14 when she died but never lost her kitten face.

Here's Peanut, just a couple of minutes ago, who'll turn 20 in April.  Still spry and agile, he continues to roam the countertops, the tables and windowsills with the aplomb and balance of any other cat half his age.

Such a lovely girl; rest in peace, Hector.
