Moonbeam, my beautiful little Maine Coon went to the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday afternoon, Feb 26.

She was my sunshine and my joy and cannot be replaced.

I'm so very sorry that Moonbeam has left you.  Some cats are just special and fill our lives with so much joy that when they leave, it is like the world has turned dark.  It sounds like Moonbeam is one of those cats.  She can never be replaced, rather what happens when you get a new cat is that your heart expands even more.  It's a process of addition, not replacement.  Not that I'm suggesting you get a new cat -  you must grieve for Moonbeam in the way that feels right to you.

Do you have any pictures of her? I know we would all like to see her.

RIP sweet Moonbeam.

Of course your precious Moonbeam could never be replaced, the love they give us, their personalities, their 'uniqueness' is one of a kind, never to be duplicated, a precious treasure of the soul. But that does not mean you can never experience another love in  your life, like a mother with many children, you love each one for their specialness and what they bring into your life. After i lost my little girl, I welcomed the distraction of taking care of my remaining babies, they will never replace what I lost but I love each and every one, and hold a special place in my heart open for what they can bring to me.

When they leave us the emptiness and loneliness can be overwhelming at times. You have to believe in your heart that your sweet Moonbeam would never want to bring such sadness into the life of the one she loves above all else. She wants you to go on with your life, be happy and smile once again, just as you would want for her. Death cannot take what you have forged with love, the bond you have with her is now spiritual, so eternal.

The longer we live the more losses we experience. but having that sweet girl in your life was meant to be, not knowing her precious love and what she brought into your at all would be a tragedy beyond compare. She is grateful she shared a part of your life's journey, the two of you shared what few do.  Her new journey will always follow yours, the 'essence' that is Moonbeam will always be bound to your soul, will always be close by. Let your memories of happier times comfort you, I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and know you are not alone in your grief.......RIP beautiful Moonbeam, you will live on in a heart that will always hold you dear, you have left your mark on this earth and now blaze bright in the heavens above. You were a Princess on earth and now a Queen at the Rainbow Bridge!
