Is your cat spayed?

I think the cat following her around begs to differ.  Silent heats are likely.

Can you keep her inside until she is spayed?
Thank you for the advise, we would like a litter but she is clearly not ready for it so we can keep her inside for now, hopefully the other cat wil leave if she stays inside.

Why do you want her to have a litter?

Because she is a wonderful sweet playful and beautiful cat and we already have people that asked us for A kitten if she is to have them

I'm sure she's lovely!

However, are you aware that you are risking her health by allowing her to get pregnant and deliver? Yes, the majority of cats come through with minimal issues, but there are a few points I would be concerned about:

One, each heat cycle increases her risk of reproductive cancer down the line. There is also the concern of pyometria with each heat cycles, which is fatal if not treated.

Second, mating is quite painful for the female. The male's penis is barbed and the tom cats often make them by force. If you are not using a pedigreed stud, you run the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and parasites. There are, of course, always risks with delivery as well.

Third, there are millions of cats that need homes in shelters. Perhaps you could foster a mom cat in need. That way you could have access to kittens, make a big difference, and see what labor and delivery is like. You could also encourage your friends and family to get a kitten from a shelter.
