I will post a more updated post here soon but these are the 4 kittens that are coming here today.

They should be here any minute now actually. ❤

They look very sweet! How old are they?

What happened with the other sets of kittens?

So they are here and settling in. We've already named them so I'll introduce them with there names in this post as well.

We are guessing they are around 6wks.

Most of the kittens made it out of the shelter. Unfortunately the shelter did not wait for rescues to get there and pull everyone. We are so very upset about it!!! But I have to focus on the 7 here now.

We vaccinated everyone when they got here and I will worm them tonight.
Jayson threw up after we vaccinated him so we are thinking it didn't mix well with him. It is also the hottest day of the year here in Southern California so I'm sure that had something to do with it.
He is up and running around so we aren't overly concerned but will most definitely be keeping a close watch on him.

So here is everyone with their new names. We decided to go with country artists for there names keeping the band/artis theme going.

Oh they are just beautiful. I'm sure they'll all find wonderful forever homes Thank you for all you do. So sad not all the kittens made it out of the shelter, at least most did xx

Rescue is very very stressful. When my rescue has room opened up we are always faced with the choice of which cats do we pull from which kill shelter? Will another rescue pull that litter if we dont? It is heartbreaking. Focus on the ones you can save...

The best that you can do, my Darlin, is the best that you can do. And you do so very much! And we love you for it.

It's been forever! I feel like I come on here update and run lol

Sense last posting we've had our doe kid! She had triplets. Her birth was eventful, I was elbow deep pulling each one out. The last little guy had some leg issues so we had to splint his legs and he was in the house as a bottle baby for the first couple of days. He is now out with his momma, siblings, and the rest of the herd doing great!

The four newer kittens are doing ok. We are battling some stool issues. When I first got them Luke would throw up after the last night time feeding and I couldn't figure out why. I was only adding KMR to the night time wet food and once I stopped adding that he stopped throwing up. For the runny stool I've started everyone on metro hoping it works.

We are having issues with Corey. He is not growing and stopped eating Sunday. I'll post the picture below showing how much smaller he is. He has always ate like a little pig! We have always teased he wasn't made with a fill line because the little dude just ate and ate! We took him into the vet Tuesday. They took a stool sample and didn't see anything that the metro shouldn't kick. He sent me home with a "Super" Probiotics to hopefully stop the diarrhea or runny stool. Doc said there isn't much he can do for him until he gains a bit more weight. He only weighs 0.6lbs! He wants us to switch his food to a higher calorie and protein diet and give them tons of Nutra Cal. Corey hasn't touched barely any food at all today so I think he is going back into the vet tomorrow. Something needs to be figured out sooner.

I can officially announce Corey, Oscar, and Jayson will be staying with us! Life just feels so complete with them and who could split them up?!?

Oh my! Lots of excitement! :)

Triplets - you had your hands full bottle feeding. It's great the goats are all together again. I'd love to see goat pictures!

I sure hope the Metronidazole does the trick. If not, there are other things that can be tried.

It's so wonderful that you will be keeping Corey, Oscar, and Jayson. This warms my heart.

Are you hand feeding Corey for now? I'm sorry he's not well. I hope he gets better soon. Poor little guy. :(
