Hello c: So i have a white cat with black spots, roughly a year old, and about two or three weeks pregnant, her name is Lilah and she's an indoor cat, and it's her first time being pregnant and has never been with any other male cats or outside.

(this is a younger picture of her from when i first got her)

The father is a Russian Blue named neko and is about the same age as Lilah.

I know Lilah's mom was a Calico and her dad was a mostly black cat with white paws and she has a Calico sister and her brother is the same as their dad, but I'm not sure about neko's parents or siblings. I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell what color her kittens could be? I plan on getting her spayed after the litter is weaned.
Thanks in advance!

They will all be black or gray, with varying amounts of white. You might get a tabby or two, also black/brown or gray. But since both parents are solid probably not. Is the father a purebred Russian Blue or a regular gray kitty?

If the father cat lives with you, he should be neutered soon, before the babies come. Female cats can get pregnant right away after giving birth, and males can retain sperm for awhile after getting neutered, so if he isn't done at least 2 weeks before the kittens come you'll have to keep him separated from her until she's spayed or 2 weeks after he's neutered.

Okay thank you~!

The people i got him from said he was a purebred Russian Blue, and he's going to be neutered pretty soon.

You own him? Do you have papers?

I'm just confused about the arrangement.

Same here, I'm just a little bit confused, as it seems odd that a person would just give away a purebred Russian Blue, and a whole male nonetheless.

They are both beautiful cats! Feed mom as much dry kitten chow and wet food as she wants during pregnancy and nursing. We have lots of good articles to read as well, and we are happy to answer all your questions! [emoji]128522[/emoji]
