Hi everyone, I have a 1yr old male tabby named Maximus. He does not look like an average tabby though, he has looks and characteristics like a bengal. He's very playful/active and loves chirping at birds and knocking things off the table haha Im thinking he has bengal in him. He also has a very cool spotted/stripes pattern too. What do you all think? View media item 408749

Personally, I don't see it, but what people see means very little.  DNA testing will tell you without equivocation.  What I see is a beautiful Domestic Short Hair, sitting on his your sofa.

From the picture provided I am not seeing anything that would make me think Bengal and definite not Savannah.

Do you maybe have some different photos?

Hello maxandmacey, welcome to TCS :wavey:

Agree with the rest as Maximus is not a Bengal. He is a DSH Brown Mackerel Tabby. Most cats display such characteristics.

He is beautiful. Looks like he's not neutered. Is he?

He may be possibly a black silver mackerel tabby (not just brown mackerel tabby) - and its probably why you think he has this especial background mentioned.

He is very beautiful, "but" a domestic shorthair,  no sticking out breed background.   Did I said he is handsome and beautiful?    Oh yes.
