As a child or youngster I have never denounced to my parents any of my brothers or sisters for any naughtness they committed against the family rules. Sometimes I was unjustly punished accused of connivance
No, we were 7 brothers and 5 sisters and the only one who ever "squealed" was the youngest (a little sister) who never learnt our "code of honour"Wowza, you never squealed?? and you were punished?? that's rough

I have never ever been in jail or prison.
That was the first thing my Dad taught me when I got my driver's license. He said, 'If you're gonna drive, then you're gonna have to learn to change a flat tire!" One of the best things he ever did for me was teaching me that. I remember when we went to the tire shop for new tires, he told the guy to make sure everything was tight.....but not too tight that I wouldn't be able to loosen the lug nuts if I had to. He was a real stickler about his girls knowing how to change their own tires. He tried to teach me how to change my own oil, but I never did it by myself.
Good thing to know how to do. I can remember calling Triple AAA many times to change my flats,That was the first thing my Dad taught me when I got my driver's license.
