Is the kitten with the dry nose nursing mom? It's important that the kitten eat! Do you have kitten formula to supplement with if necessary?

Rub some honey on its gums. It may need an energy boost.

How is this going?  This with nose may depend on many things, so usually it doesnt mean much. There are healthy kittens with wettish noses and there are healthy kittens with dry noses.  Changes in the actual nose may show more, thought.

Differet dispostions may vary between cat individuals,  BUT if he is lethargic, its another matter,  is alarming!

IF so, begin with some honey water on his mouth and gum.  (solve honey in warm water).

Be prepared to supplemet feed him - with kmr or goats milk.   Many weak sucklers are OK if they get help with a needleless syringe or a dropper.  If so dthey dont need to suckle, its enough they manage to swallow.

Please report.

Ps. If "he" is OK but you dont really know how good, the easiest is to take their weight daily. If they gain properly, about 10+ grammes daily, you can presume he is developing as he shall, even if not as lively as littermates.  If he gains clearly less than so, you begin to worry, perhaps even sound the alarm bells...

Yes, please try to post the picture again. How is the dry-nosed kitten doing today. Is it eating well?

If you dont manage the automato, you can try with the common copy pic and paste with the right button.

Its not scientific, but it works in practice.

Re seeing sexes - its not always easy, but if you have several kittens, hopefully  different sexes, try and compare them with each others.  Its the easiest way.

We moved them to warmer darker storage room next to furnace wall.. wet noses are dryer.. but the littlest male is not so much energetic as others.. he is putting more weight on and we have to help him latch on.. momma will lay on him and not move

B babycheese

This is a red alert emergency if he is not latching on! You need to begin supplementing him right away with kitten formula and a syringe, or he may die.

Huh? You just found a near frozen kitten outside? How old is it? If it's tiny you can put it on your mama cat to nurse.
