siamese as mousers

Greetings all
I am interested in possibly purchasing a siamese, but I have heard that siamese are not very good mousers. As I am looking for a good companion and mouser this is kind of important.Any opinions from past or present owners is greatly appreciated.

We were posed with this question not too long ago and it seemed like the Orange Tabby won all the votes. Or darn near to it! Just a great American or who knows what nationality :laughing2: Orange Tabby

I have one and let me tell you that cat is simply a born hunter...I really have to watch him. I hate to see him kill anything...I think to myself...this is my precious, little sweet angel, that I thought would never hurt a flea!

This is the other side to our felines that we don't often see. They are hunters, that's why they've outlived many other species througout history. Bless their little hearts
