My cat is about 6 months old and his side teeth are digging out into his gum. I dont know if that's normal but they leave a little mark on his gums Help!!
Okay thank you so much I was worried for a bitThat's normal .
Hello rere, welcome to TCS sometimes I see him rubbing his teeth on some objects as if he's trying to itch it? But other than that I don't think it hurts him
At 6 months old, your kitty is going through teething. His baby teeth are giving way to adult teeth and by the 7th month, he should have his full set of adult teeth.
Do you notice if he feels uncomfortable and have problems eating? And do you know if the canine is already the adult teeth?
If the canine tooth is leaving marks and causing sores on the lower gums, please have him checked by the vet dentist.
Just keep an eyeSometimes I see him running his teeth against some objects as if he's trying to itch it but he doesn't meow or indicate that he's in pain
