One of my two cats (male and female under 2 years) has had blood in their stool lately. I'm not sure which cat it is. Any ideas on what this could be? No one is acting lathargic in anyway, there has been some vomit but the normal amount with hairballs.

Hello kjwmemphis, welcome to TCS :wavey:

Regarding your question, it's best that you show the vet the photo and find out which cat of yours lay that poop it could be a series of different ailments which only the vet can verify.

Please find out which cat it is and bring him or her to the vet soon ;)

Agreed! Blood in stool could be something serious like internal bleeding. I'd monitor both cats and take the one with blood in the stool to the vet. Keep us posted!

I would bet on a parasite; that doesn't look like healthy stool.  Please do show your vet and get both of your cats treated.

Hi....my cat had the same thing...turned out to be hemorrhoids.....are their bums looking Normal? Are they linking it a Lot? My cat was a girl....I got her some hemorrhoid cream...applied it regularly and it helped....if it's always soft like that though there could be a blockage that is preventing a full bowel movement...the vet will do an analysis exam...really the only way.....good luck...
