But on a more serious note, which of the major religions do you think best suits your cat? I think my cat is a Buddhist, just because she seems so relaxed and at peace with everything all the time.

Yeah, I am a Mac site. Software developement is my hobby; unfortunately it is an expensive one ($120 a month for hosting, hence all the ads). Are you a Mac person?

meow meow prob follows buddhism cos like what my mom says she doesn't take beef like some buddhist followers do.. however, i think boy boy is probably a free thinker... eh couldn't quite care less

I wouldn't figure cats to follow any religion. If anything, they're hedonists.

Buddhism is out because they don't hesitate to kill (Yummy! bugs and lizards). Catholics and Anglicans have too many rituals - kities would get bored. Islam won't work for them, because female cats tend to be dominant. Unaltered cats tendency for large families might make them good Mormons. Jewish holidays would be attractive to cats - all of that good food at Hannukah and Passover.

I think cats would just pick and choose what they like, from each religion and pass on the rest. We know that they love Christmas - that tree, hung with shiny, fun toys is irresistible!

One other point: cats believe that THEY should be the objects of worship

Our kitties are provided with food, shelter, affection, medical care, unlimited recreation time and never have to do a lick of work. Obviously, they are Utopians!

I think they are more jewish than anything else.... being jewish myself I can testify to this: There is no religious jewish festivity without a BIG dinner. How about yellow rice, chicken, pigeon peas, red kidney beans, a lot of salad, veal, and some lamb. After that, say "repeat". How's that for a "festive meal"?

That's what I've had in Passover.

How about Ancient Egyptian? The whole worship of Bast and cats? I think that they probably think back to then and think about the good old days!
