Does cat know other cat is pregnant?

I was wondering if anyone could help me....I have a female cat and she had a litter of three a year ago I have found wonderful homes for two I kept the one boy ...And I have grown very attached to him he is my stinkerbugs he thinks he is a lion ..He is big ..My question is two parts ...First he is over a year old does he know that lolly is his mom ...Second lolly got pregnant again ...Not by him he is fixed ...Does he know she is pregnant

I'm sure he knows both things. He can remember her caring for him as a baby, and cats can sense things like hormones and pheromones, which will change with pregnancy. What he thinks of it, I don't know ;).

It would be best to have her spayed after this litter. It's not healthy for a female to have too many litters.

He may or may not feel a close bond with her - some grown-up kittens always remain close tot he mothers, others have no obvious relationship at all. It is good he is fixed, as there is no doubt that the mating instinct would over-ride everything, and there are many cases of a male kitten of around 6 months or so being responsible for getting their mother pregnant, to the horror of the owner who never thought such a thing could happen. But it is shame she is pregnant again so soon, you might consider getting her fixed anyway, though some people do not like to do that.
