I'm not sure just where to start. I found this site and signed up a couple of weeks ago. At least that was what it said. I hadn't remember signing up but that's ok because I really could use some help and it will also be fun to post pics of my fur babies some place.

The help I need is I took in 2 homeless felines just after Christmas last year. Neither one seem to like others in fur but both are as sweet as can be as long as there is no one else dressed in fur nearby. I have put feliway plugins in every room but one. I have had it in for about a month now and there are still arguments.  I have been looking for homes for them since I picked them up but so far no luck. I am specifically looking for homes that don't have other felines. I want them to be happy and I want my other 3 to feel safe in their home. I guess what I'm looking for is for suggestions on how to get them to all get along with out fighting until I can find forever lovable homes for the homeless ones. I'm so worried that one of my original 3 is going to end up dead.   I'm scared to death to leave them and go on vacation.

Here is a picture of Greyisha. She hasn't had any outright fights but just growls when she can see the others. If she can't see them she is fine. I'm looking for a home with an older couple or person because I think she would be perfect for them and they for her. I just want her to be happy.

Welcome to TCS! Greyisha is beautiful. The guide to reintroduce cats is a great one, so I'm sure you can get your kitties to get along. You can also always start a

thread here on TCS asking for advice. People are very nice and helpful. Another great thing about TCS is that there's always someone looking at it, so if you have any issue, you should be able to get a quick response.

@Pegalena Hello and welcome to TCS...there are a few things to do...I think one I would like to ask you how many litter boxes you curgently have....and how are you feedin them?

Now if you have the space what you can do is put the 2 you recently rescued in one room with 2 litter boxes...and of course keep the other 3 on the other side...when it comes to feeding time put 3 dishes a little far away from door and then in the room put 2 dishes a little away from door on the other side...feed them like this for a couple of days...and every few days move the dishes close to the door on each side that way they can associate the others smell with food...that is a positive reinforcement and when you finally have the dishes on each side of the door after a few days introduce a baby gate or screen so this way they will be eating on oposite sides but are able to see each face to face but with that barrier...also put collars on all and then every few days rotate them off of eachother that way they can all get used to the others scent around their neck...and then once you remove the baby gate you've also got to play with them all interact with each one using energy that they would use on eachother...hope this helps..

There ate several different ways to reintroduce this is just one

Thank you to everyone that replied. I will give it all a try. I did read the article but was not sure where to start since I have had them now for about 2 months. The only thing I can't do is put the 2 new ones together in a closed room. Even though they came from the same place they have never gotten along. Their person didn't give us much info about them except for that. This site is terrific. I'm so glad I discovered it. I've gotten so much help. I really appreciate it. I will post more pics of Greyisha as soon as I can. I have 1 other pic I'll try to post tomorrow. It's been hard getting pictures of her because she hides. She was hiding behind my monitor when I took the one I posted. I'll post some of my others as well as soon as I can.
