Hey all. Has anyone heard of/used Vintage? (Pic below)
If not, how does it look? Just picked it up today to try. My cats diets not strictly this. She gets a mix of multiple thungs. She usually gets a 5.5 Oz of canned per day, as well as some dehydrated food..(she's 5 months..and a piggy :) )

I've never heard of this branch of dehydrated raw.  Strange, I also don't recall ever seeing a CAT dehydrated raw that didn't include Taurine as an ingredient, but I could be wrong.  Or it could be that I simply can't read the list of ingredients very well

Glad she likes it!  And I see you've got it nice and rehydrated.  If I put too much water in my guy's dehyrated raw, they won't eat it, silly guys.

I think it might be newish? I live in Canada and it's made from a province away. Even their facebook/website, is aimed at their dog food.
I figure it can't hurt to try? I've been trying to give her a wide variety..she loves her Primal Turkey dehydrated. I also picked her up some Raw today..which I also noticed didn't mention taurine? I'm assuming bc of the organs that are in the mix?
Either way she also eats canned which I know they list taurine... think I should add a supplement to her raw or dehydrated?

The Primal Turkey, if it's for cats, probably already has Taurine added.  As to the bag of Raw, what kind is it?  Ground, pieces, what?  Does it include bones?  If it doesn't include some form of calcium, then you will need to add that, for sure,  If it's ground, then you will need to add in some supplements, something like EZ complete or Alnutrin (with or without Calcium depending on what kind of raw you bought), etc. If it's prey model, then many people don't add too many supplement's,, but still give egg yolks and some Omega 3s.  The taurine level should already be ok in prey model raw.

This sounds like a commercial prepared 100% nutritionally complete raw food.  What's the brand?  when you said you picked up a bag of raw, I took it literally and though maybe you picked up a bag of ground turkey with organs and bone or something like that.  This sounds more like Primal frozen raw.  Does it say on the package that it's for cats?

OK, now i'm totally confused.  Initially we were discussing the dehydrated raw, which is what you just posted a picture of, correct?  But then later you said you picked up a bag of raw.  What did you pick up?  RAW meat, bloody, raw meat, or not?

I've picked up both. It's the dehydrated food that's in question (the one pictured).
Sorry for the confusion

OK, I'm guessing that it is 100% nutritionally complete, but cannot say for certain  Since I can't pull up a website down here in Arizona, when you look at theirs, does it say anything about being 100% nutritionally complete?  I have looked at my bags of dehydrated food, and they do state that, and I don't see that on your bag, but things are different in different countries.  Also, I did note on one of my bags that didn't have additional taurine that the 2nd ingredient listed was HEARTS, and they are chock full of taurine.  Your bag doesn't list the ingredients that way, so, again, it's hard to know
.  My gut feeling is, however, that your food is ok.  If nothing is on their website, I would call them.

Honestly, I can't seem to find ANYTHING on bag or website stating complete/balanced... maybe Canadian brands haven't caught up yet?
Do you think getting a taurine supplement and/or salmon oil would be a good idea?... can they have too much?..

You cannot overdose on Taurine, so if you want to add some, it wouldn't be an issue
