Husband found this young cat in a very wealthy multi million dollar developing vacation or community (30A Panama City Beaxh FL) ...i say all that to say this kitty didnt struggle. But it did get lost and we are seeking to find thr owners. She is small, young. Very loveable. Follows you everywhere ans wants to be in your lap. And my hiw she is vocal. Like non-stop. Its short sounds.I watched some videos of a bengal cat and its almosy identical. Several different chattering sounds and chirping, similar to the bengals. I recorded it but not sure how to upload it.

She has a smaller head than her body. Its not wide at all.

I'm not really an expert on breeds. She looks like a very pretty spotted tabby to me. Have you taken her to the vet to have her scanned for a chip? If she is someone's lost pet that would be the easiest way of tracking down her owners.

You could put up some posters in the area but don't put her photo on them. You don't want to risk handing her over to the wrong people. Just put up a poster that says.

Cat found in this area on (date).

Put an e-mail address, you can start a new e-mail just for this, rather than your phone number.

Thank you for helping her. I hope you find her family soon.

Yes, spotted tabby.  No immediate bangal ancestry, as closest a granddad. Young sounding of her big forelegs - she hasnt grown into her adult posture yet.

Re the odd bengal-alike chirping - as she isnt no bengal, but it dawned on me, her cat companion may be such a bengal, and she learned the sounds from him...

Thanks for the advice and I will get her scanned for a chip. And that makes sense how she could of been raised with a bengal.
I took some pictures with the "big" camera. She sure can work a camera :)

I'm with StefanZ on this one; I don't see any immediate Bengal [Asian Leopard Cat x Egyptian Mau or x Abyssinian, typically] ancestry either.  What I do see is a beautiful and very photogenic adolescent (perhaps a yearling) DSH Tabby, who seems very comfortable around Humans.  Bengals around this age - depending upon how many generations they are removed from the Asian Leopard Cat lineage - will typically range from seven to fifteen pounds, with F³ and forward generations somewhat lighter in weight - a bit smaller that an adolescent Savannah (African Serval x Siamese, initially) F³, whose coat pattern your Tabby more closely resembles.

By the way, welcome to TCS !

Thanks so much for all your input. She is very photogenic and is so very sweet. And it warms our heart even more knowing she's just full of an awesome personality! You seriously can't help but fall in love with her.
