I have a cat that snuck out of the house before we could get her spade and she now is pregnant I have taken to the vet twice 2 different vets the first was to confirm she was pregnant and the second was because if discharge she was having. Which they did CBC count on her and said everything looked good gave me antibiotics for her. Anyways neither vet can tell me how far along she is and I figured she would be due this week but no sign other than she has stopped eating as much and that started today. Is there any other reason why she would have been having discharge?

I will attach a picture of what it looked like when I got it off her hair and it like it dried in there that's the only day it was that color and I didn't smell anything I only saw it after the fact it had dryed on her hair. I also have a picture of it stuck on her.

She's now acting as if she's in heat. Her stools have been loose the last 3 days and she's followed me everywhere I go in the house and is sitting on as soon as I sit down. But why is she acting like she's in heat?

When should I put her in the room I want her to have her kittens in? I want her to be in a room away from my kids and the dog so she can rest with just her and her babies when she goes to have them. And what should I look for as time gets closer?

It sounds as though you can put her in the room anytime now. You can also wait until she begins to deliver.

Have you seen contractions yet? They look like ripples down her sides.

Do you know when she conceived? It sounds like she's close to the end of her pregnancy.

No I haven't seen that and I thought dec 11 was the day she got pregnant but the vet said 2 weeks ago she was 2-3 weeks and the vet we saw this week said the same thing said he feels the baby its firm and round and i told him the vet last time said the baby was soft like a marshmallow he said well it's grown and with her being so small and with all her fur that can make it hard to tell. But that dec day was when she was out for 3 hours I couldn't get her back in the house. And one other time she got out but that was a few weeks about about 3 maybe but we saw her the whole time she was out. So I really am not sure she's a small little girl. they think she's only going to have one kitten.

Well, this is confusing. She would be overdue if she conceived December 11th, so if the vet is correct, she's about 5 weeks along. Pregnancy is nine weeks, so it's not time. An x-ray would tell you much more.

But I'm a worrier and will worry till she has her babies/baby.

Well, if her milk is in and she's been showing since January it may be time for her to deliver soon then.

My question is the wetness I see it if from her acting like she's in heat or babies on the way?

How long should she leak stuff before I get worried and take her to the vet? She's still leaking and acting as if she's in heat but no kittens and no contractions as I can tell.

She's getting closer.  Sadly all cats are different and there is a wide timeline for the leaking.  If she isn't in distress - crying, lethargic, bleeding more than spotting, she should be fine.  Also be aware of odors.  discharge with an odor is a sign of infection.

She is acting like she is in heat because of the hormones preparing her body to give birth.  Sometimes they are confusing to first time moms.

Keep an eye on her.

Most cats will not go into the nest until the last minute.  It keeps it clean longer and doesn't attract predators early in the wild.

Here are a couple of articles to help you pass the time.
