...with the cats...
i don't have overly much on my fridge.

on the front:  i have probably 12 or so magnets, a few really nice 3-dimentional ones and the rest are flat ones for things like the vet's, cat medical supply websites, and repairmen (plumbers, electrician, and etc). i've got an important phone numbers printed on paper too -- apple support. i've got the date of this years firewood deliveries on paper on the fridge. there's the trash/recycling pick up schedule on the card they sent out, the 2017 calendar i printed from Call Me Victorian (http://callmevictorian.com/1957/free-2017-printable-calendar-paris-edition/) -- this eiffel tower calendar is so popular that they offer it every year there, and i've still got the pre-dental surgery papers from the vet's for Dude up there...
(he had dental surgery last june).

on one side: a couple of large pink kitchenaid magnetic chip clips, one of which has a sheet of paper it's holding that has my list of jams/jellies/preserves/sauces with their color coding stickers next to them -- i don't label the jars, just use color coded stickers on them.

on top of the fridge:  a rectangular plastic container with lid that contains mini pretzels, 3 more empty containers of the same size/dimensions, a small plastic colander -- empty, and the square 5-cup container with lid which has my cream of wheat in it.

I used to have a little more on mine, but it was driving me crazy, so I finally cleaned it up a bit a few months ago. I moved a lot of spare magnets to the side.
Here's the front now. Years ago, I had a poetry magnet calendar, & I saved the blank bottom of it w/ all the words. It's fun. I mostly keep it as is right now, unless I think of something else to add to it, or change. My vets card, magnets, & some sayings I cut out. Oh, & a bumper sticker my friend gave me a couple of yrs ago that says "Angels are often disguised as cats." So I have Angels picture above it in a magnet frame thing I found at a pottery store. :)
Oh, & "hiding" behind the mat board is a basket w/ incence in it, & the other side is a small 3 drawer organizer w/ pencil sharpener, small stapler, sticky pads, etc... In it. I want to find something else to hide that stuff, or just a bigger single piece of poster board. The dried flowers are hydrangeas from my mom's yard.

Ours is pretty neat - there's a shopping list, a dental appointment card, and a note with our cell phone numbers in case of emergencies.

@Norachan  Gorgeous! Oh, my, just gorgeous! He or she looks very regal up there.

When Ms. Pepe was a very young kitty, she loved napping on top of our fridge. She spent so much time up there that I bought her a nice big dog pillow and stuck it up there, just for her. She was the Queen of the Fridge Top.

I like seeing your refrigerators! In a way, they're a reflection of you and those things that you enjoy seeing.

I rather miss all of our fridge magnets. We used to have magnetized words on the front of our fridge as well as a set of cat-related words, and people were constantly making new sentences. I'd be making dinner and people would be standing at the fridge making sentences!
There were cat magnets, little flower magnets, etc. I had a picture of the Obamas and the Bidens that was taken at their first inauguration ceremony; the picture was sent as a Thank You for working on the campaign. I still have the picture in my desk. My mother had some early pictures of her and my father turned into magnets and they were on the fridge, too.

Norachan, he is just gorgeous. So you've had him about two years now. Comparing the pictures of then and now, he really has come into his own, so to speak. He is beautiful.

Wow, he really is beautiful!!  I just want to give him a BIG hug & kiss!  I just read through the thread when you found him. He is lucky to have been picked up by you. I'd never heard of the Chinchilla breed before, but he does look just like the cats in those pictures. He is just SO gorgeous!  I love those big boys, make me miss Angel, although he was not quite that big.  Angel usually stayed around 14lbs,  how much does Forest weigh now?

Thank you. Yes, he's been with us just over 2 years now. He'll be having his 3rd Gotcha Day this September.

He's now 6.8 kilos, just under 15lbs. He's not fat at all, just a very big cat. It's sad to think he was only 2.6 kilos when we found him. Poor guy must have been starving.

He'd love a big hug and a kiss. He's very affectionate.
