Good morning!
And Happy Friday! I'm taking a vacation day today, so I don't have to go back into work until next Wednesday. Nice!

We have a stainless refrigerator, so no magnets will stick to the front of the fridge. Our fridge is bare. My question for you this morning is: What's on your fridge? Favorite pictures? Any special magnets? Your children's or grandchildren's artwork? What is your fridge "wearing"?

I do have some magnets on mine but most of them are on the sides. I keep take out menus under them.

I have an old business card of DH's on the front that he put there when his boss finally made some for him. It always goes back up after the fridge gets a wipe down.

I do still have a LOT of DD's old artwork but not on the fridge. They are stored in what I call the time capsule cabinet. It's in the kitchen to the lower left of the fridge. I don't use it and opened it one day to find coloring books, and a big box full of crayons, little toys, etc from when DD was in elementary school.

I'm not nuts about things on the fridge. Up until last year, I never had anything on ours.

Now there are 3 things- one of those black and white photo strips of Tom and I taken in a photo booth at my niece's 16th birthday party.  I really like the way we look in all the pictures, they capture the fun side of us.

Then, the magnet holding that photo which is from my HVAC company.

Last another magnet, which from our vet.  Both magnets are good to keep handy for Tom if I'm not around and something happens that he needs the numbers fast - since I'm sure he doesn't remember the names of either of them LOL

I have pictures of my cats and my nephews and their family and some paper work I don' want to lose. The magnets I use are ones I got from my vet.

I have a plastic carrier thing on the side of my fridge that I keep menus, receipts and business cards in.

Too much to mention, lol.  I always try to tidy up the magnets on the fridge but somehow they reappear.

Emergency nos. at the top including vet & specialty vet, picture magnets that my kids made at school when they were younger, lots of pet pics, calendar magnet, nearby med. clinic, and a very special magnet made for me by one of my students who passed away too young.

I have a New Years picture greeting from my daughter with all their pictures and a magnet that says " Gardening forever, housework whenever", my creed. Everytime I go to my mother's I truly cringe, you can't even see a surface, I have no idea what color her fridge is!  This is BEYOND trashy. When she moved into her new apartment I thought we had that whipped, but less than 6 months later and it's back! Oh well, it's her apartment.

I have pictures of my grandson, a birthday card one son sent, extra magnets, and extra bag clip magnets. Just covers the freezer door.

Hopefully this won't surprise anyone so greatly that it causes cardiac arrest.  I have (get ready; sit down if you're standing) pictures of the cats - both present and past.  Hard to believe, of course, but true nonetheless.

;)

.
Pictures of cats--who would have guessed?!

We're in the same boat as you, @Winchester   Stainless steel fridge and magnets won't stick.  There's nothing on the front of my fridge but fingerprints.

Where my cats are
The side of my fridge is covered in pictures.  Mostly the ones friends and family send at Christmas.  There are some older photos of my friends and graduation pictures or ones I'm just not ready to swap out, etc. I even have a picture of 2 of my best friends from high school and I at our senior prom.  I love that side of my fridge.  It's nice having those where I can see them regularly.  When I get new ones to change out its so sweet to see how kids have grown.  Company always stops to look.

The front of the fridge is a happy mess.  There are comics, more pictures, magnets, a timer magnet, artwork from my kids.  A random recipe I didn't want to lose, some of DS's schoolwork.  And more magnets!  Alphabet magnets too.  The ones toward the top are nicer though. I have one that was a gift from another TCSer, a few from my childhood and most recently a set a friend and former TCSer sells in her Etsy shop that she custom painted to look like Mooch and Noodles.  Every time I try to clear it off I end up putting 75% of the stuff back.  Only the kids papers rotate it seems.  They get so proud to have their special things up there.  Good thing clutter doesn't bother me much.

My food log, my workout calendar, weekly planner, some coupons, babysitting schedule and some magnets on the front. The side has a list of all food in my freezer, random receipts, coupons, bills and a monthly calendar. On top is cereal, protein powder, olive oil and vegetable oil.

Honeybee on my lap, music playing in background
All photos of my cats-past and present.  A few photos of my mom and dad. Tons of unique magnets. One is a piano that plays but the battery is dead- another is a boom box..dead battery.. One that says I made a Wish and you came true when I first got with Jon. I don't have anything other than pics of my sisters kids and the cats. One sheet I used packing tape to cover it so the photos don't run from the water spots. Some photos I need to reprint as they have gotten ruined from water. I just don't have the heart to throw them away. They are on a hard drive that I never got a chance to upload to my present computer. I don't even know where I put it now that I think about it. I don't like bare refrigerator doors. I like seeing what people have for their photos and other mementos on there.

Oh, you are so NEAT!!  Here is mine.  Everything is above the "spray line," and under the spray line it is covered with contact paper (the old kind that actually sticks, not the new kind that falls off) to protect against corrosive cat pee.  This fridge was here when I moved here 14 years ago and is still running just fine.

A series of magnets from PCH with cooking tips on them on the freezer door, along with a homemade magnet of Hekitty, and on the side a printed sheet with my go-to recipes on it.

I really dislike fridges with stuff all over them, but I do have a few of the New Yorker's Rejection Collection cartoons---most are too twisted to describe here! Visitors always love them! Their fave: a man has his head inside an oven. His wife comes into the kitchen:"Almost finished over there, Mr. Happy? I have to get my casserole in."

I also have a cover of a Duluth Trading catalog on the fridge:

http://www.writingfordesigners.com/?p=17615

It's the cover there, about the space program.  I love their catalogs ; they have a quirky sense of humor. DH loves their boxer shorts.
