Actually I think it looks like 2 boys and 3 girls. The first 2 look like boys and the next 3 like girls. The only one I can say for sure is a girl is the tabby, the 4th one down. The black ones aren't as obvious because black cats are notoriously hard to get a good picture of, but I'm pretty sure.

The basic rule for sexing kittens is that girls look like this i (the dot is the anus and the slit is the genital opening) and boys look like this : (top dot is the anus, bottom dot is the genital opening, with room in between for the testicles).

It's easier to sex them when they are 3-4 weeks, but anytime really as long as the testicles are descended in the males.

All kittens are super healthy but one. He's gotten eye infection in both vet says it conjunctivitis and will go away on its own. It's so bad his eyes are shut. They're two and half weeks now. Three weeks on Tuesday. They're wobbly walking around and their baby teeth are in. What can I do for the eyes? I clean them with warm water.

It will not go away on its own. The vet needs to give you antibiotic ointment. Can you ask for this today?

Yikes! You need to hold a warm, damp rag on the eyes until the gunk softens enough to allow the eyes to open. The infection can cause blindness if not treated.

If your vet will not give you a tube of terramycin for the kitten's eyes, then immediately call another vet who will. As stated, the infection will NOT clear on its own. I can't believe a vet told you it would clear on its own. [emoji]128528[/emoji]

Terramycin isn't a prescription product; you can buy it online. But I don't know what local sources may be in your area. I think Tractor Supply has it (in the locked case with the livestock medications). But, yes, I agree he needs it, and soon! I can't believe the vet said it will go away on its own :/. Early conjunctivitis, if untreated, can make a kitten blind.

Thank you so much everyone. Yeah I didn't think it would. I'll look for another vet asap. I told her it was just getting worse. I'll look for that stuff. I have tractor supply rural King and coop. So I'll asap. I was worried. I've been doing warm cloth and cleaning every hour and he can now see and is even trying to play.

Great progress so far, thanks to you! The antibiotic ointment will clear it right up.

They've all gotten so big. They all have future homes as well lined up. We are keeping one though. We are going out to go buy some when my hubby gets off work. Thank you.

Just cleaning the way I have been has helped so much. I can't wait to get medicine and clear it up rest of the way.

Keep cleaning every hour until you have the meds. It's critical that the eye doesn't get stuck closed.
