Hello, my name is Bansh33 and I'm the owner (or shall I say I'm "owned") of 4 crazy cats and dogs. I've had a love for animals since I was very young; I wanted to go to college for zoology. I've had so many different types of pets including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds and rodents. From dogs like pitbulls to reptiles like water monitors, I'm a fan of them all. I currently own a 13 year old German Spitz named Bear, a 7 year old chihuahua/beagle mix named Lily, a 3 year old grey short-haired named Pumpkin and a year old tortoiseshell short-haired named Toffee. And for anyone wondering, all pets I've owned are rescues/strays! And Toffee who is only 5 pounds is the boss of the house. Below I have some pictures of them all!

Welcome to TCS!

Love the photos! All of my cats are rescues, too.

Hi Bansh! I'm new too. I've also had a lot of these types of pets too, mostly non-reptilian and I've never had a larger reptilian such as a monitor. WOW! It is nice to meet you, I think your pets are lovely. That Pumpkin is a doll

Hello Bansh33, welcome to you and your kitties and doggies to TCS :wavey:

Your kitties are lovely and do are the doggies. Do browse around this wonderful site for all the interesting topics and articles and do ask questions if you have any.

I hope that your dream will come true in your pursuit of your studies

There's a section for cats and other animals and you can share your doggies photos there. Do post more photos of them ;)

Aw, you are all so welcoming! Thank you again!

And Pumpkin is the absolute nut of them all. I swear if he was an outside cat he would not make it. He thrives off attention and needs to cuddle at night to feel secure.

What I find funny is that both of my cats play fetch pretty well but my dogs can't seem to grasp that concept.

Pumpkin also has this weird quirk with certain toys where if he REALLY likes a toy, he'll hide it from everyone and only bring it out to play when he's ready.

I guess it's a good idea considering Bear destroys them all.

Glad that Pumpkin is an indoor cat and glad that you are giving him all the attention he needs.

Maybe your doggies will learn fetch from Pumpkin and Toffee :lol3:

Don't get me wrong, my dogs know how to fetch.

It's just the returning part they don't seem to understand.

More often than not, they just tease each other with the toys until they play chase.

And yes!

I couldn't imagine letting my cats outside; it would terrify me knowing that Pumpkin isn't exactly the best at running away.
