Well, here I am again to relate some musings about the little guy in the avatar in the tuxedo, my joy, Sylvester....about 2 weeks ago his original owner sent me an email with a picture of a "football card" he made of him for the "Kitty Bowl" when the Super Bowl was going on, and I was on a computer at work looking it up so I could print it out and a woman said "what are you doing, clicking for cat food again?" meaning the animalrescuesite webpage (hope I can say that?) and I said "no, take a look..." and she said "oh, Sylvester again....Sylvester is # 1, your wife is second..." to which I said "yes, a distant second" lol!!!

A woman at my wife's work was saying to her how nice of a husband I seem to be, ha!! Deb said "let me tell you about him...the other night he came home from work and I heard "hi sweetheart, hi sweet face, how are you doing?", and when I said hello back he said "oh, hi Deb", he was talking to the cat!!!! The girl at work said "well at least you're number 2?" and Deb said "no, there's Sylvester, then soccer, then the wood stove, then the Pittsburgh Penguins and Denver Broncos...I don't think I'm even in the top 10!!"

Yesterday, I almost did this for Valentine's day, but thought about it and didn't do it; I was going to get a Valentine's card and write "sweetheart" on the envelope and lay it on the table, and when she would find it and open it it would read "Dear Sylvester, then the card's message, then "Happy Valentine's Day, Love, Daddy" lol!!! I didn't do it, but when I sensed she was in a good mood I told her about it and said "I didn't know what mood you'd be in, I didn't want to get you mad" and she said "I've come to expect it, so I wouldn't have gotten mad..."

Just some ramblings about how crazy I am about the little fella, she says "it's like you're creepily obsessed" with him lol!!! I don't see it that way, close but not quite....

And the wife, she's okay too, I love her too!!!

Haha--that sounds familiar.  I'm always saying "How are you sweetheart" "Oh you're such a handsome boy" or something and my spouse is always saying "Are you talking to me or the cat?"

In our house, the cats always come first. DH has told me that if it ever comes between saving the cats and saving him, I should save the cats. Our Rainbow kitty Cindy was his girlfriend. She followed him everywhere. He always told people that he had a wife and a girlfriend, and I would add that his wife approved of his girlfriend!  I hope your wife loves Sylvester as much as you do!
