Hey! New to this site, and loving it!
Short story shorter...we rescued 2 stray sibling kittens a few months back. They've grown to be a special part of our little family. Originally I figured being strays that they were of no particular breed...but now I'm not so sure. They look very different. Bodhi is brown with black stripes down her tail, front legs and head, and soft black spots on her back, a black stripe down her spine, white belly and stockings. She's so pretty I find it hard to believe she doesn't have some special breed in her...but I'm definitely biased which is why I'm here! Her sister Gracie is grey striped and fluffy. I don't actually care one way or another, they're my babies! I'm just curious to understand them better. Thank you! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

Also, they're VERY HIGHLY vocal. Over everything! Food, water, attention, annoyed, etc. Obviously they meow alot, but they also make funny noises sometimes, almost like a shrill trill...not a shriek. Its cute but sometimes annoying, in a very endearing way. [emoji]128525[/emoji] hahah! Thanks in advance for any advice or insight you might have!

How far are you from Covina, California?  (Strictly opinion): The first image looks very much like the breeding stock of Judy Sugden, from a cat named  Millwood Sharp Shooter and the Sire Scrap Metal.  Ms. Sugden bred what's now recognised as Toygers, beginning in the very late 1970s or early 1980s from a Tabby program of which your tricolour with the sharp black markings seems to retain many traits.

Lovely cats.

Hello chrissycatlady, Bodhi and and Gracie, welcome to TCS :wavey:

Nice to have you with us and do browse around this wonderful site where you can find lots of information about cats.

Do introduce yourself and your kitties to the community in 'New Cats on the Block' under the General Forums' and do post more photos of them.

Bodhi is a DSH Mackerel Tabby with white and Gracie looks like a DMH (if not a DLH) Grey Tabby.

Both of them are beautiful.

Yes, I agree with Tom.  They seems to be verry sweet and nice, but still - the salt of the earth - domestic cats.   The first is domestic shorthair, mackerel tabby with white in the tuxedo pattern.  You could say a tabby tuxedo.

the second is more even gray tabby, mediumhaired domestic.

As said, both very nice, especielly the first really sweet.
