Having reached its bandwidth limit, PushPurrCatPaws' original Last Letters thread has been closed, but the game was just too much fun to allow it to scroll off the Board. Pending the Mods' indulgence in reviving the game, here's the original rule set:
"Try to create a new word using the last letters of the previous word, but use as many "last letters" from that previous word as you can. Use them in the same order as was shown in the previous word. The more letters you use, the better!
Note: you must add at least one letter to "last letters" of previous word to make your new word -- however, the goal should not be to just make a new variation of the current word (like, adding a -d" to make the previous word past tense). The goal is to produce a completely new word for the thread.
Sometimes you'll be able to use multiple "last letters" of the previous word with no problem, but, if not, just use the last letter only of the previous word to produce your new word.
EXAMPLES:
- Facade
- Cadence
- Ceramic
- Microwave
- Waver."
