Medium hair, or long?

When I adopted my cat in October last year, I was sure she was a domestic medium hair. Her coat was very sleek, a bit longer than a short hair, and her tail was fluffy. Since then she has gotten fluffier all over, and I'm beginning to wonder if she qualifies as a long hair. I'm interested to know what people think.

Yeah, its the longhair end of the spectrum now, no doubt.

I'd still call her medium hair, like an Angora rather than long haired like a Persian. But, I that's kind of subjective, I guess. She's beautiful either way.

Thanks for the feedback! Interesting to know that she's more of a long hair. Not that I would love her any less if she wasn't She definitely doesn't have the extreme Persian kind of fluff, and no mane either. All the fluff went to the tail haha

Here's a picture of her from when I brought her home. I was told she'd had a litter of kittens, and that she was two years old. I think she's younger than that though, as she's filled out quite a bit since, and is extremely playful.

She looks more like a long haired kitty, definitely grew longer from before. I had a cat who looked almost the same as yours, fluffy tale and everything!

I was actually asking myself this same question about my new kitty Shadow. He's only a year old and I figured he was more of a medium haired cat [emoji]128578[/emoji]

Shadow is a real prettie, and yes, this would count as mediumhair.  Or semilonghair in some languages.

He is adorable [emoji]128513[/emoji] He's very calm and snugly. We suspect he might fluff up more, yes. He's got a healthy appetite and his coat is getting silkier by the day. We've only had him for a week so far, so we'll see. [emoji]128578[/emoji]
