I generally pick up ALS canned food when shopping. When I got home, I realized I accidently picked up a few cans that appear to be for "adult maintenance".
My kitty is almost 20 weeks. Would it make a difference if she occasionally gets one of the cans in place of an ALS? Or should I just use them as more of a 'snack'?

The adult maintenance won't have enough calories or nutrients for a growing kitten. One can here or there shouldn't be a huge deal, but my preference would be to save it for when she's older (canned food usually keeps pretty well, but do check the use by date ;) ). From around 6-9 months, a can of adult food every now and again won't be as big a deal :)

I think it'should perfectly fine. My kitten is extremely picky. She's been refusing kitten specific food since she was probably 10 weeks old. It bothered me to no end. But I've finally accepted as long as she's eating that's what important. She eats purina pro plan varieties and even preferred the adult matinance dry food I have out for Lily. I had tried every brand and texture of kitten food available and she just won't eat it. So I just make sure she eats. And she's very healthy and growing strong and big and has so much energy. I give her an omega supplement by gnc, adult food doesn't have the dha and omegas like kitten food so she does get that. She's about 6 months old now. She's pretty tiny but I think she's just a small cat. I'm also comparing her size to Lily who is a rag doll and she was a HUGE kitten
