I've been trying the so called best wet food for my 6 year old cat. I have found that a food called Weruva "Cats in the kitchen" he licks the plate clean. He loves Funk in the Trunk. Please let me know what you think of this food. Thank you

Welcome to the Cat Site, 1kramer!

Weruva's Cats in the Kitchen foods are very decent: we feed our cats Fowl Ball, Double Dip, and Chicken Frick A Zee. They like Funk in the Trunk, too, though I don't feed that or other foods with fish very often: cats really love them but they can easily get "addicted" to them. Our vet isn't keen on feeding fish anyway because of concerns about mercury.

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I don't feel him any fish at all. He seams to like anything with chicken ( hates turkey & duck ). I really don't want to give him anything that might be bad and from what I'm reading this brand seams to be good.

Weruva is a great brand
There are 4 different lines within the brand: http://weruva.com/cat-cuisine.php BFF is nearly all seafood based so most people don't feed that too often.

Weruva also makes the very similar but less expensive brand Soulistic. You can find Soulistic at Petco stores. Some of the Weruva varieties are under a different name in Soulistic.

The "best" food is the one your cat will eat and you can afford without going broke

That's just what my husband said " the one he eats is the best food".

Yes, Weruva is definitely a very decent brand! The food you mentioned -- Funk in the Trunk -- does have tuna in it, though. It's the third ingredient, after chicken broth and chicken. You can check the ingredients here: http://weruva.com/catsitk-cans-funk-in-the-trunk.php

I feed our cats a food with fish every now and then as a treat: they love this one and Goldie Lox, too, which is also from Cats in the Kitchen. Unfortunately, a lot of foods from many brands are labeled like this one ("chicken recipe") but have fish. I've become a big label reader!

Is that your kitty in the avatar?  If so, he's so adorable.

Weruva is the best food I have ever given my cats.  Much less vomiting and they love it!  Grandma's Chicken Soup is a favorite.  It looks and smells so good, I wish they made it in adult size portions!!

Our cats love Weruva Cats in the Kitchen food. They lick the plate clean every time we feed it. They go through several pouches per day -- it is  low in calories compared to other food. We tend to mix it with another food for variety. Wish the price was lower.
