That's great she will probably need that because she is going to possibly be going in to labor soon and she needs a lot of food (nutritional) and lots of water while this is happening. Also when she is in labor make sure you have clean towels, blankets, and a heating source just in case. Also another thing she will need her litter box near and food plus water near as well so she doesn't need to leave her kittens when she eats, drinks, sleeps, or needs to use a restroom! Make sure to keep us posted daily lol![emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128568[/emoji][emoji]128568[/emoji][emoji]128568[/emoji]

That is also very good that she has everything do you have all the supplies (I think I asked you already) but do you have everything for hand feeding or hand doing the kitten or kittens

Yep. Sure do. Thinking they aren't going to be here for another few days. She tricked me again. She's just cuddling up with me here in the floor. She won't leave the room BC she's scared of my other animals right now so I come and hang out with her. Wish she would let me take her temp but she won't even let me touch her tail without her trying to claw me.

Yeah my cat does the same thing that is so funny! We have like the same cat almost (not trying to be weird) but yeah that's good that she I scared I guess because she really shouldn't be near other animals when she is pregnant because he might hurt them because of her pregnancy hostility lol![emoji]128569[/emoji]

Temperature is not the most reliable indicator of impending labor anyway, so don't worry about it. She'll let you know when it's time in other ways!

No kittens today. She is just laying around sleeping. Or cleaning herself. Im about to go and clean up her bowls and litter box and check on her. Didnt get to it this morning.

On another note. Did find out this morning that the brother and SIL that brought me the cat found out they are having a baby. Maybe she will have them today and get me EXTRA excited! :)

Congratulations! [emoji]128149[/emoji]

They are beautiful! Make sure all 5 are latching and nursing well, and that each gains 6-10 grams per day minimum. Mom needs plenty to eat and drink at all times too. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

They are nursing great. Momma is getting up and finally eating her wet food and her kitten food. I made her up some kmr. So far all are fat and happy. Gorgeous babies! Can't believe she had four white kittens! She let me clean up the dirty pad and lay down a new one. Three boys two girls. The two solid white ones are the girls. And man they are loud. Lol I've got her favorite blanket in the wash now. I'll put it back with her as soon as it dries. She's ten times nicer to us now that the babies are out. Lol

Good to hear that all is well! Glad mom is eating now. You should only hear the babies cry when they are hungry. Early days involve mostly eating and sleeping. Are you using an additional heat source?

They cried when I got the blanket BC momma got up. They are all cuddled up on her now in a big ball. :) There is a heating pad under the blanket and pad on one side of the box. So when momma gets up they all crawl over to that and cuddle. Now I need to research everything about new kittens. Like when they open eyes and stuff. Later I'll post individual pictures of them. Don't want to mess with them too much right now.

It looks like there are two sets of twins. The two boy white ones have black or grey spots in the same place on their heads. And the two solid white ones look EXACTLY alike and are both girls. How am I going to tell them apart? Lol

You can use a drop of food coloring on their tails to identify them.

She won't let me get one right now. I called the vet and was told to help with bleeding to dab vasoline on the spots. Looks like three little holes from her claws. But kitten is still eating good when she isn't trying to move them. She acts like she wants out of her room but I don't want her moving the kittens to a place that my other pets or children can get to. I'll keep watch for a little while and make sure kitten is OK and if not I guess I'm packing them all up and going to the emergency vet.
