Are you superstitious about Friday the 13th?

I just noticed the Olympics will start on Friday, 13th August and finish on the 29th. Although I don't think that anything worse happens on a Friday 13th than any other day, some people might think it strange and a bit unnerving.

I've never had anything good happen to me on Friday the 13th. some people say it's all in your mind, but I swear anything and everything that can go wrong on that day, will for me.
It all started when I was younger and I had the chicken pox, mind you I was in junior high so this was awhile ago but I ended up in the hospital and they did a spinal tap thinking that I had spinal menengitis(sp) because my back hurt so badly from what ended up being just stuck in bed to long and being so sick from the chicken pox. All this happened on Friday the 13 and I've never had a good one since. I fear Friday the 13th.....

Nah, Friday the 13th doesn't bug me in the least.........but if its Monday the 13th, its gonna be BAAAAAD for me!

No superstitions here, I always have good days on Friday the 13ths. I also have 3 black cats.

I'm touching wood here!, but nothing bad has ever happened to me on that date!!. Oh god i'm a big believer in tempting fate though so pretend i've never said that!

Friday is my Fav day and 13 is my lucky number, so I don't have any problems with that day!

In Latin America the unlucky day is considered as tuesday 13, not friday 13. Anyway, nothing bad has ever happened to me in Friday, nor tuesday 13.

Friday the 13th never really bothered me until my grandmother died last year on Friday, June 13th. Now, no matter if it is on Friday or not, just the 13th of every month haunts me.

I've heard that before - that in many countries Tuesday, the 13th, is supposed to be unlucky. Black cats are considered lucky in Britain, and unlucky elsewhere, so if it's not "universal", I prefer to ignore it!

Friday the 13th doesn't bother me. I think some of us are just more hypersensitive to things on that day because we are more aware of it being Friday the 13th. I wish I could blame bad things on one certain day/date! Then I'd just stay at home that day, not answer the phone, don't cook or use any appliances or climb any stairs!

Black cats are considered unlucky in the States and I my husband tells me in the middle east too. But I don't believe that either. They're just old wives tales to me!
