Advice please!
Over 8 weeks ago my cat gave birth. She was just over a year old, had 6 kittens, and all are and were doing fine. She was a natural.
However, she's being extremely naughty and has had such a personality change she is no longer the cat I loved so much I wanted to get her face tattooed on me. Now I can hardly stand her! All she does is meow constantly. Inside, outside, with her babies, away from them- she NEVER shuts up. We feed her, love her, give her treats- and she's become a huge pig. I know that she has a lot of work to regain her weight and her appetite will be massive, but she eats beyond that, to the point of doing thing she KNOWS she isn't supposed to, like jumping on counters and going through our trash in our rooms. We put her outside to let the babies eat as she will eat all of their food, and she jumps in and out of whatever window is open even though again, she knows that's not allowed. She's never done any of these things before but now she acts like she owns the house! She won't sit with us or cuddle like she used to. She's been wormed and flead, healthwise she's fine but she's just this distant, demanding, piggish, yowling (not in heat) annoying creature where there used to be the worlds most loving and cuddly, SILENT, and not overeating beautiful girl. I don't know what to do but need advice as with her being so bad I just want her out of my house. None of us an deal with it anymore.
