Kitten food

I currently feed my little Nova a mix of dry/wet food. For wet food we give her about a teaspoon of performatrin kitten chicken recipe twice a day. And we also feed her Merricks backcountry raw infused kitten formula. The wet food I chose was at random, it's grain free. As for the dry food it's a little too pricey. Especially with the Vet bill we now have. I was looking for dry and wet food recommendations that are still healthy for her but just on the lower price range!

How old is she?  Is here a particular reason why you want to feed both wet AND dry?  What is your ultimate goal once she reaches adulthood? 

As you have probably guessed, there are probably hundreds of choices of food, and ultimately the best ones are what she will eat. We have thread and thread with people asking what's the best food.  That's really all relative.  What I think is best the next person doesn't.

Many adult foods are labeled as "for all life stages" so it's perfectly fine to feed them to a kitten. Some people include some adult food in their kitten's diet for the variety.

 Thank you, I have just read lot's of stuff about cats needing variety in their wet food. The reason I want to feed both is because, during the day her wet food goes bad and she eats its at night. We throw it out when this happens but I've seen her eat it, so she might eat it when it's bad ans we're not home. So we leave the dry food out for her in the day, but I put the wet food in the fridge before we leave for work. 

I am not entirely sure of the goal for when she's an adult..I hadn't really thought that far ahead.
