My cat was diagnosed with early stage renal failure on December 23. We have been supporting her with sub Q fluids as well as a antinausea, an appetite stimulate and a phosphorus binder. She was doing very well and still seems well but in the last 2 days has not been happy with any food we offer her or eats a bit has a drink of water and leaves. But she is always leading me to her food room but nothing seems to satisfy her. She hasn't vomited. Had a big poop yesterday so I am looking to see if anyone else has experienced this with their cat.

I have had 3 kidney cats, and getting them to eat is the hardest part of the disease, IMHO.   What you are experiencing is completely normal

Just keep trying different foods, that's all I can advise.  Our Vet always said to TRY to feed foods low in phosphorus, but not to sweat it if they didn't like them, mainly just get them to eat.  So that's what we did.  I did only feed wet food, though, with extra water added in, and just tried every food known to man, including making my own for them, until I found stuff they liked.
