Hi, my kitty has not been eating well due to IBD/ possible GI cancer. (U/S showed thickening of the small intestine) .

She is on various meds and the last few days I have switched her to Fancy Feast Chicken and Tuna. (I have tried numerous other brands, including Weruva and frozen raw food) but she seems to like the above Fancy Feast the best.

Unfortunately she has developed diarrhea in the last several days also, but so many things were switched at once a few days ago (diet + new meds) it is hard to know what has caused the diarrhea.

My vet said the fish in the Fancy Feast is the prime suspect, and recommended that I stop feeding it.

However, my kitty really seems to prefer this to anything else and getting her to eat is a challenge.

Has anyone else used this food, and if so have you had a good experience with it?

Thanks in advance.

We feed Fancy Feast Classic which they readily eat and have never had a problem. Sorry she is not feeling well.

If you are talking about Purely Fancy Feast, my cat loves it. It's her favorite food, which would figure since it's so expensive. They do have two Purelys with no fish. Straight chicken and a chicken and beef.
